Dreaming of More

Recently I was given the opportunity to read and review Michelle Anthony’s new book, Dreaming of More for the Next Generation: A Lifetime Faith ignited by Family Ministry, and I must say, it was a privilege.

Families and how we minister to them are changing, and Dreaming of More encourages some very thought provoking angles. I love that this book isn't a list of how to's or a program to follow. I found several key things that I am already doing, and some ideas that I can not wait to try. Our ministry is already being impacted by my findings in this book.

 I appreciate Anthony's approach to getting the reader to think based on the Biblical truths used. I was encouraged to really dig a little deeper in what we currently do for our families. Anthony really focuses on personal faith and having your own story, which as a children's leader thrill my soul. :)

 I found this book encouraging and useful for a new to Family Ministry leader as well as the seasoned leader. Definitely will be reading again with my staff, and can't wait to see the discussion that comes to follow.
